About

I am a warm, friendly and attentive psychotherapist who strives to have your voice and story heard. I have worked extensively with women who are seeking help and support or escaping abusive relationships. In my private practice, my focus of therapy is on new motherhood; transition to this new phase in your life, postpartum depression, wellness and self-esteem support, body image issues, birth trauma, and relationship counselling. Since 2006, I have provided therapy and support to women through a client-centred and trauma-informed practice, using Feminist Therapy as the main form of therapy. I strive to work holistically so I draw from Narrative Therapy, Expressive Arts based activities and Mindfulness-Based work. I also work in a non-judgmental way and use an Anti-Oppression lens. By listening with empathy, I work with you to create a space to explore your situation and emotions that facilitate a path to post-traumatic growth, healing and wellness.I am an active member in the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
