I graduated from Istanbul University and hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology. I established a career as a psychologist until moving to Canada in 2003. I became a Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario. I have received extensive training and certification in the following psychotherapy modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Informed, Humanistic, Gestalt Therapy, Family Therapy approaches. Further to this, I have considerable training and background in the treatment of Addictions, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress and Couple Therapy I see clients for a wide variety of concerns such as, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, assertiveness, family issues, histories of trauma, relationship difficulties and sexual difficulties. I aim to create a supportive environment which fosters the development of trusting, consistent and collaborative therapeutic relationships with each of my clients.
